We came for one tasting and ended up staying most of the afternoon. The patio was relaxed, the staff made us feel completely at home, and we’d absolutely come back.

The Experience
This is the working winery side of Michael Florentino Cellars, making it the better fit for visitors who want the wine itself and the production identity at the center of the stop. The portfolio is intentionally European-varietal driven but made from Washington fruit, with a style the winery describes as balanced, fruit-driven and distinctive. Recent recognition is substantial: at the 2025 Seattle Wine Awards the combined Michael Florentino/Sherman portfolio earned two Double Diamonds, one Double Gold and six Gold medals, including top recognition for Barbera, Primitivo, Tempranillo and Albariño. The winery location can also be rented for private events.

About Michael Florentino Cellars Winery
Inspired by a passion for handcrafted Washington wine, Michael Florentino Cellars Winery has built its identity around small-lot production and carefully selected fruit from some of the state's most respected vineyards. Rather than chasing large production volumes, the winery focuses on creating wines that highlight balance, varietal character, and the individuality of each vintage. That boutique approach allows every bottle to reflect both thoughtful winemaking and the quality of Washington's diverse growing regions.
The tasting room offers an opportunity to explore a portfolio that ranges from elegant white wines to expressive reds, with an emphasis on showcasing the depth and versatility of Washington fruit. Guests can enjoy thoughtfully crafted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and other seasonal selections while learning how vineyard choice and careful cellar practices shape each wine. The experience feels personal and unhurried, making it easy to ask questions, compare different styles, and gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every pour.
While every vintage reflects the winery's commitment to quality, the atmosphere remains approachable and welcoming. Whether you're expanding your knowledge of Washington wine or simply looking for a relaxed tasting with friends, Michael Florentino Cellars offers an experience centered on genuine hospitality and a shared appreciation for exceptional wine.
