The Experience

Simpatico is one of the more personal small-producer stops in the Warehouse District. The limited-capacity tasting room keeps the experience close to the people behind the wine, and walk-ins are accepted when space allows while reservations are encouraged on busier Saturdays. The current portfolio spans Viognier, rosé, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and proprietary blends. Craig Sosey came through Northwest Wine Academy and worked with Patterson Cellars' custom-crush operation; Cassie Wistrom also trained at Northwest Wine Academy and gained experience with Lewis Cellars and Betz Family Winery. That practical background shows up in a winery that prizes collaboration, low-intervention technique and expressive Washington fruit over a single rigid house style.
