About Gård Estate Wines

Gård Estate Wines was founded in 2006 by Josh and Lisa Lawrence to showcase wines grown from their family's own vineyards. The name Gård means "farm," reflecting the Lawrence family's Scandinavian heritage and generations of agricultural roots. Gård is a 100% estate winery, meaning the grapes used in its wines are farmed by the Lawrence family rather than sourced broadly from outside vineyards.

Head Winemaker and Viticulturist Matías Kúsulas leads a broad wine program spanning both reds and whites. Gård's current Woodinville guidance specifically highlights reds such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec alongside crisp aromatic whites such as Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The wider producer portfolio also includes Cabernet Franc, Vermentino, Franc Blanc, Grenache Blanc and numerous other limited-production wines and blends.

The Woodinville tasting room at The Junction offers multiple tasting flights, glass pours and bottle service in a relaxed setting. Gård also programs recurring events and seasonal patio activity, giving visitors several ways to explore the estate-grown lineup beyond a standard tasting.
