Story Cellars is a small Woodinville winery led by owner and winemaker Tim Oas, with a particularly unusual focus on Washington-grown Zinfandel alongside Rhône- and Bordeaux-influenced wines. Oas began with garage winemaking before moving into commercial production in 2014, and has steadily built Story around small-lot wines with a strong sense of individual vineyard and vintage character.

The Experience

Story Cellars is a working-Warehouse tasting experience centered on Tim Oas' wines and the stories behind them rather than polished destination theatrics. The winery is especially notable for treating Zinfandel as a serious Washington variety, working with fruit from warmer Red Mountain sites as well as cooler Columbia Gorge sources to show how dramatically the grape can change by place and vintage.
