We came for one tasting and ended up staying most of the afternoon. The patio was relaxed, the staff made us feel completely at home, and we’d absolutely come back.

The Experience
Story Cellars is a working-Warehouse tasting experience centered on Tim Oas' wines and the stories behind them rather than polished destination theatrics. The winery is especially notable for treating Zinfandel as a serious Washington variety, working with fruit from warmer Red Mountain sites as well as cooler Columbia Gorge sources to show how dramatically the grape can change by place and vintage. Beyond Zinfandel, the portfolio extends into other red and white wines, and the room has also hosted live music and community-oriented events. For visitors who want something less expected than another Cabernet-focused stop, Story's Washington Zinfandel program gives the tasting a real point of difference.
