About Northwest Spirits
More than a century of family history helped shape the story behind Northwest Spirits. The woman-owned, family-run distillery draws inspiration from generations of hospitality and spirits craftsmanship, tracing its roots to Seattle's historic Jake O'Shaughnessey's saloon and a tradition of experimenting with oak to enhance the character of whiskey. Today, that legacy continues in Woodinville through a modern distillery focused on blending, aging, and refining premium spirits while honoring techniques passed down through the family.
Rather than centering the experience on a single product, Northwest Spirits invites guests to explore an evolving collection of bourbons, whiskey, gin, vodka, and handcrafted cocktails. Signature Savor Spear® spirits showcase the distillery's distinctive barrel-aging philosophy, while the tasting team introduces visitors to the blending process and the creativity behind each pour. The atmosphere strikes a balance between polished cocktail bar and working tasting room, making it equally inviting for whiskey enthusiasts, craft cocktail fans, and anyone curious about Washington's growing distilling scene.
Innovation remains a defining part of the experience, with the Woodinville Tasting Lab serving as a place where new recipes, barrel techniques, and cocktail ideas are developed before finding their way into the glass. It's a refreshing reminder that great spirits are built on both tradition and a willingness to keep experimenting.
Planning Your Visit

We came for one tasting and ended up staying most of the afternoon. The patio was relaxed, the staff made us feel completely at home, and we’d absolutely come back.
