The Charter
Five districts.
Five founding places.
The Founding Charter was not selected by a panel. In each of Woodinville’s five districts, one permanent position belongs to the first local business to lean in and formally participate during My Harvest List’s founding chapter.
How the Founding Charter works
Each of Woodinville’s five districts has one Founding Charter position. It becomes permanent when the first local business in that district leans in, formally confirms participation, and completes the founding process.
The positions are not auctioned, ranked, voted on, or offered as paid upgrades. The rule exists so the historical record reflects what actually happened at the beginning rather than a later judgment about which businesses were most prominent.
Once a district’s founding place is established, that position does not reopen. Future participation, partnerships, or commercial relationships do not alter the original Charter.

The designation is recorded to the participating place, with the representative preserved as part of that historical record.
The Founding Partner designation records a place in My Harvest List’s history, not a temporary marketing status. The venue is the historical participant, and the Charter preserves the owner or authorized representative who acted for it at the time.
Ownership, leadership, or the business itself may change over time. Those changes do not rewrite the founding record. If a Founding Partner later changes hands or closes, the Charter continues to record what happened in 2026 rather than replacing that place with a new one.
What’s recorded is fixed. What’s provided isn’t — it reflects the platform as it exists today, and it'll change as My Harvest List does. That’s fine. 2026 is the part that doesn't move.

The Founding Charter has a narrower purpose: to preserve one moment accurately. It keeps a permanent record of the five places — one from each Woodinville district — that formally participated during My Harvest List’s founding chapter.
Its meaning comes from staying fixed while everything around it is allowed to change.
